What do you spend most of your time thinking about? Did you know that your B.S. could be affecting every area of your life? Most people are not aware of how much B.S. controls everything that happens in their life.
Our B.S. (Belief Systems), single handedly determine the outcome of our situations and circumstances. Is your thinkin’ stinkin? What you think about, you bring about and most people entertain stinkin’ thinkin’ on a regular basis. Have you ever thought any of the following?
- If it isn’t one thing it’s another.
- Every time I take two steps forward something throws me back five steps.
- There’s never enough time in a day to get things done.
- Nothing ever works out for me.
- Life is so hard.
- Bad things seem to follow me everywhere I go.
- I don’t think I’ll ever make it.
- I can’t do it!
And so do you know what happens? All of the above! As long as you think it, you will have it and if you expect it you will experience it. Stinkin’ thinkin’ creates stinkin’ realities, stinkin’ experiences and stinkin’ situations! Contrary to what many believe, outside forces do not have control over your life unless you allow them to. When we are willing to blame, or allow, everything that is wrong within us to be a result of everything that is going on outside of us, what we are essentially admitting is that, that which is outside of us has more power in our lives than we do.
Our thoughts form our beliefs and our beliefs form our truths. Beliefs entertained over a period of time become that which is truth for us. The sad thing is that most of the things that we think, are not even our own thoughts. They have come about as a result of what we have seen and heard. Through these experiences, our subconscious has been programmed with some B.S. that is hindering us from living the authentic, happy and fulfilled life that we really desire to live.
So how do you eliminate the B.S. that is not in alignment with creating greatness in your life when you don’t even know what that belief system is?
Well, to change your life, you have to change your mind, or more specifically what you entertain in your mind. Change your thoughts and you change your beliefs. Change your beliefs and your truth, or reality, will also change.
Eliminating the negative B.S. out of your life will begin when you decide to confront it head on and assess what it is and what it’s creating. This process will most times require you to admit that you and you alone, could possibly be the one standing in your own way. Are you ready to change your life? Are you ready to be happy, free, successful and victorious? Good…begin by being honest about where you are and deciding where you want to go from here. The Power to BE what you can be lies within you.
When you are willing to change your thoughts and shift your perspectives you can create the reality you want and not just accept what the world throws at you.
