Every student who graduates from high school isn’t certain of what they want to do with the rest of their life. Even after they’ve taken all the assessments and received the list of careers that they’re best suited for…many still don’t know. They haven’t found the thing that interests them. So they enter college with the hopes of discovering what that thing is or they get frustrated and leave. Not everyone figures out what they want to do early in life. Everyone doesn’t have an epiphany at the age of six that they’re going to be a doctor one day.

For some of us…the pieces of the puzzle don’t come together until much later and that’s OK too.

[tweet_box]You can decide “what I want to be when I grow up” at anytime in your life.[/tweet_box]

Truth be told, you can reinvent yourself whenever you get ready.

Especially with birth of the Internet.

Maybe you haven’t had a chance to dream yet.

Sometimes life happens and survival supersedes dreaming.

Maybe you haven’t seen much outside of your current neighborhood and you’re not sure what’s out there.

This year, make the choice to live and to explore and do something different so you can be someone different.

Yes it will be a little scary, so don’t let your mind or family or friends talk you out of it.

Yes you should definitely pray and then get yourself out there and see new things and meet new people.

There’s even a college geared toward working adults that has a try before you buy program.

Who do you want to be? What do you want to do?

The journey to the new you begins today.
