I didn’t know that I would grow to love gardening and growing our own food! My husband and I have been tending to our garden lovingly called Alexander Farm & Orchard since 2015. We have learned about soil amendment, pollinators, composting, and water harvesting.
Well, 2022 was an abysmal year—our family couldn’t grow anything due to the extreme heat that began in June and didn’t let up until September.
In 2023, we were prepared, but only slightly.
In this episode, I discuss how climate change changed how we garden and what we anticipate for 2024.
